Put your best paw forward for the Million Paws Walk

IMG_5557.JPG

This Sunday, the pooches of Australia and their owners are invited to take part in the RSPCA Million Paws Walk, a nation-wide event, and the organisation’s major annual fundraiser.

This morning, Fairsy is joined by Melanie Knight, RSPCA Marketing and Promotions Manager, and Frankie, a three-year-old Maltese Shih Tzu cross who, along with his best mate Rover, is currently available for adoption.

Ms Knight shares just how important the community's involvement in events like this one is to the not-for-profit charity.

“This ongoing support is vital; we literally would not exist without that kind of participation from the community.”

The Launceston walk kicks off at 11am on Sunday in Inveresk - register here.
