Hawaii bans texting whilst crossing the road - Should Tassie?

Hawaii has recently passed a law making it illegal for pedestrians to use their mobile phones whilst crossing the road. The law was brought in to ensure people pay attention to their surroundings, and make the roads safer for everyone.

Fairsy thinks this is a great idea and many Big Breakfast listeners agree.

“It’s really putting everyone in the firing line” Tony says.

Should this law be enforced in Tasmania?
