Matt Corby didn’t hold back in a recent interview, revealing he regrets his time on what was Australia’s biggest music competition. Back in 2007, at just 16-years-old, Corby quickly became a fan favourite on Australian Idol. In a recent interview, Corby opened up about his struggle with being an ex-Idol contestant, stating that it was a big f***ing mistake”. He also suggested how the show made him feel like he didn’t truly belong in the industry, adding “I went on Idol and completely jeopardised myself from actually being in a music community.”
