Hot property around the State

Housingmarket

West Hobart's still the hot spot for property is the verdict from the Real Estate Institute.

Despite a newspaper report making a big deal out of New Town having the most inquiry on real estate.com.au

The Institute's state President Tony Collidge rates West Hobart, Sandy Bay, Kingston, and Howrah as the suburbs that are jumping the most.

And as for his view on those spots where you get the best bang for your buck ?

"Moonah to me is one suburb that's got really great value, the North West Coast at the moment I think is sensational buying and the West Coast when you have properties selling for under $100,000 it's great value as well."
