Power Outages on the East Coast Causing Problems

power

New outages are appearing in the state, as the savage weather continues to take a toll.

Thousands in the Northwest and North were cut-off yesterday, with most of them brought back online.

Jacqui Collis from TasNetworks told Tasmania Talks the latest trouble spot is the East Coast.

"Lightening has caused outages this morning so we have areas from St Helens to Orford affected unfortunately, so our crews are very stretched right across the state."
