Foster kids 'for sale'

More damning accusations involving Tasmania's foster care system have surfaced in parliament, with Labor pointing to kids being advertised on a buy and sell Facebook page.

It's hot on the heels of other allegations of kids being inappropriately housed in sub-standard conditions and funds not being made available to a special needs child.

The Opposition's Rebecca White's raised this latest one with Human Services Minister Jacquie Petrusma in question time.

Rebecca White : "This site in the Ulverstone / Penguin / Burnie/ Somerset / Wynyard area is advertising a 9 year old boy, a 14 year old boy, a 5 year old boy and a 15 year old girl."

Jacquie Petrusma : "We will look into this allegation and we'll get the facts."
