Tina Arena headed to Tas

To celebrate 40 years in show-business, Tina Arena has released a 'Greatest Hits and Interpretations' album, and announced a national tour that includes Tasmania.

Turning 50 this year, the songbird has sold 10 million albums worldwide, having first become a child star in the seventies on Young Talent Time.

She's told Sky News, it's been an incredible journey so far.

"Many, many highlights, being the first female to ever win album of the year at the ARIAS, being inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, receiving an Order of Australia..."

Tina Arena appears in concert at Launceston's Princess Theatre on September 26th and Hobart's Theatre Royal on September 27th.
