Gunfire outside Melbourne casino: reports

A gunman has reportedly fired a handgun outside Melbourne's Crown casino, leading police to block off an inner-city street.

Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing a man with a handgun about 4.15am on Queensbridge Street, near Crown casino, police say.

Police have blocked off Power Street between Queensbridge St and City Road as they investigate the crime.

No injuries have been reported at this stage.
