Prince Harry is heading to Sydney to officially launch the countdown to the 2018 Invictus Games.
The games patron will be at the event in the Harbour City on June 7.
During his visit Prince Harry will be briefed on plans for the games and meet competitors.
"We are excited to celebrate this special occasion and to show Prince Harry what Sydney has to offer when the Invictus Games heads 'down under' next year," Lieutenant General Peter Leahy, chair of the Board of Invictus Games Sydney 2018 said.
The games will take place from October 20-27 and will comprise 500 competitors from 18 nations.
Founded by the prince, the Invictus Games uses the healing power of sport to positively change the lives of wounded, injured and ill active and veteran servicemen and women.
Prince Harry will be heading to Sydney from Singapore where he will host a polo match in support of his Lesotho-based HIV and AIDS charity Sentebale.
