Victim impact statements will be read out in the Supreme Court in Launceston today after former Waverley man Kerry Lee Whiting was yesterday found guilty of murder.

It took the jury just two hours to deliver its verdict, finding 47-year-old Whiting had killed the boyfriend of his former partner Natalie Harris during a frenzied knife attack at Ravenswood in November 2021, stabbing him more than 20 times.

He was also found guilty of attempting to murder Ms Harris in the bedroom of her Prossers Forest Road home.
