It’s a big weekend in Launceston for live music.
The annual Junction Arts Festival kicked off yesterday and will continue through the weekend.
This weekend also sees the return of the popular Longford Jazz Festival.

Now in its eleventh year, the official opening will be held on Saturday, September 21 in the Longford Town Hall.
A street parade at midday on Saturday will include a number of vintage cars.
This year will feature special guest musician Phil Noy who’ll be performing with band The Algorhythms.
He has previously performed with Harry Connick Jr, Paul Williamson, Paul Grabowsky and James Morrison.
