Industrial action that had been planned to impact the state’s north over the next few days has been called off.
Metro bus drivers were planning stop work action as local workers seek better pay and working conditions.
The Rail, Tram and Bus Union had warned of disruptions to services, saying drivers in Burnie would be walking off the job between 10:15am and 12:15pm.

That action was planned to hit Launceston tomorrow for two hours from 5pm but Metro says all services will now run as scheduled.
