Police are continuing to investigate a crash at Kings Meadows earlier this week which left two people in the Launceston General Hospital with serious injuries.
The incident happened on Hobart Road around 11pm on Tuesday night with a vehicle losing control and crashing into a fence where the two people – a 31-year-old man and 32-year-old woman – were walking.
Police say the driver, a 23 year old woman from South Launceston , left the scene before emergency services arrived.

She was found later and taken into custody for testing and has since been released without being charged.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
