A 44-year-old woman will appear in court at a later date after allegedly being caught drink driving more than five times over the legal limit on two separate occasions in the space of 12 hours on the weekend.
Police say they stopped the woman at Deloraine around 11.30pm where she returned a reading of 0.270.
She was charged and immediately disqualified from driving for two years.
Police say she was picked up the following morning after police received reports from concerned community members of someone driving an SUV dangerously in the Deloraine area. This time she recorded 0.258.
Police have expressed their disappointment that some members of the public continue to ignore the drink driving laws and put themselves, their family, and the rest of the community at risk.
