Launceston Olympic swimming champion Ariarne Titmus has been named Tasmanian Athlete of the Year.
In doing so, the 24-year-old has become the first person to take the accolade for the fourth time.
Ariarne received the award at a ceremony held overnight in Hobart.

The former Riverside and Launceston Aquatic Club member was named athlete of the year from a shortlist which included fellow Paris Olympians Eddie Ockenden, Max Giuliani, Alanna Smith and Sarah Hawe.
