The Fantastic Four are gearing up to return to the big screen, and the official teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps has taken off. Where better to debut a space-themed Marvel spectacle than the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama? Tuesday night’s event, set against the iconic Saturn 5 rocket, was the perfect launchpad for what’s shaping up to be an epic Marvel adventure.

With fans worldwide tuned in via live stream, The Fantastic Four’s star-studded cast – Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach – got the party started by leading the countdown to the trailer’s big reveal.

The teaser takes us back to a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world. We meet Marvel’s beloved First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Quinn), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Moss-Bachrach). Balancing their newfound superhero roles with their family dynamics, they’re tasked with defending Earth from a terrifying new threat.

Enter Galactus, a colossal space god with an appetite for… well, the entire planet. Played with an undeniably menacing edge by Ralph Ineson, Galactus is accompanied by the mysterious and powerful Silver Surfer, brought to life by Julia Garner. And if battling a world-eating deity wasn’t stressful enough, the trailer hints that things are about to get very personal for the Fantastic Four.

The movie also boasts an incredible supporting cast, including Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. Directed by WandaVision’s Matt Shakman and produced by Marvel’s mastermind Kevin Feige, this film promises the action-packed adventure (with plenty of surprising twists) we’ve come to expect from the MCU.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps blasts into cinemas on July 25, 2025. While it’s going to be a bit of a wait, this teaser guarantees the payoff will be worth it.
