Police are seeking public assistance in relation to recent reports of hooning and dangerous driving in the Tea Tree area.

“Police are investigating recent reports of hooning and dangerous driving in the Tea Tree area,” said Bridgewater Inspector Marco Ghedini.

“Hooning is illegal, puts people’s lives at risk, can cause a serious crash and damages road infrastructure.”

“Following the recent reports in Tea Tree, police have increased patrols in the area to target those responsible.”

“Those people engaging in this dangerous driving can expect to be prosecuted and have their vehicle clamped or seized.”

“Police will continue to be proactive in keeping our roads safe and we encourage the community to help us by reporting hooning.”

Anyone who sees dangerous driving behaviour can report it to police immediately on 131 444.
