Sony Remove "Unplayable CyberPunk 2077" from the PlayStation Store

Things are not looking good for the latest release video game "CyberPunk 2077"

In the last week since it's release there's been numerous technical errors that have resulted in major consumer backlash, This resulted in several messages from developer CD Projekt Red stating that people could return for a full refund.

Well it seem like that may not have been enough as Sony has now pulled the PS4 version of “Cyberpunk 2077” from the PlayStation Store and is offering full refunds to those who purchased the title via the PlayStation Store.

The game has only been out since December 10 and has scoring praise for the PC version and seems to run well on Xbox Series X but has suffered quite dramatically on the PS5 and previous generation consoles.

Some have stated that it is "unplayable".

Given that in the 6 or so hours I've put into the title it has crashed at least 8 times that is a pretty fair assessment.

The page for the game on the site changed to say: “SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store.

SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice. Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund..”

If you go to the official Playstation website the game is now listed as "Announced - Release date to be confirmed".

It might have been pulled from the store but that didn't stop it breaking the number 1 spot on Playstation Australias Twitter feed. oops.

The Xbox One version of the title has also had its issues but is still available on the Microsoft Store.
