Umbilical Brothers 'joke' act a roaring success

UBSPEEDMOUSE72DPI.jpg

Ahead of the Umbilical Brothers’ Speedmouse show at the Princess Theatre next weekend, Fairsy catches up with one half of the hilarious duo, Shane Dundas.

Shane shares how the brothers started out, and the wonderful support they received from Robin Williams, which proved to be a crucial part of their career.

“This started as a joke in acting school,” Shane says.

“We had about…two weeks of mime lessons…and we just thought, this is lacking something.”

“As a joke, we just added sound and made up this violent routine with a soundtrack.”
