We all like to make sure we smell nice, but are our perfumes doing us more harm than good?
Cara Little, pharmacist and director of Home Body, believes with the medical conditions associated with fragrances, perfumes could be the modern day second hand smoke.
Protected by “trade secrets,” manufacturers are not required to divulge the ingredients in their fragrances.
“A fragrance, just that one word, can be made up of anywhere from a dozen to several hundred different chemical compounds, some of which we don’t even know the toxicology of.”
Joining Fairsy this morning for his Big Breakfast, Cara encourages Australians to consider natural alternatives.
