Tasmania’s premium food, wine, beer, arts and entertainment will be back in focus again in 2025 with the launch last night of Festivale.
Sport and events minister Nic Street said it was exciting to get a sneak peek of what’s in store for next year.
“Festivale is one of the highlights on the Tasmanian summer events calendar,” Minister Street said.
“The event has now been running for more than 40 years, which is an incredible achievement and is testament to the hard work, passion and dedication of its organisers and volunteers.
“Every year, the Festivale team puts together an excellent program packed with entertainment for the whole family, and I know the 2025 event will be no exception.”
He said funding to secure the event into the future is being progressed as part of the state government’s commitment to securing Tasmania’s major events
“The Tasmanian Government recognises the value of Festivale to our food and beverage producers, to our State’s economy, and to our well-deserved reputation as an events destination,” he said.
Festivale runs from Friday, 31 January to Sunday, 2 February next year.
