Grass fire still under investigation

A grass fire in Launceston is under police investigation.

The blaze was deliberately lit in the Reservoir Road Reserve at Rocherlea on Tuesday night.

Northern Criminal Investigation Department officers patrolled the area yesterday, including the use of drones.

Police are reminding the community such behaviour puts the lives of the community as well as emergency service workers at risk.

Police are urging the community to report any suspicious activity.
