Motorists warned to expect delays at link

Work gets underway this morning on the Kings Meadows Link with motorists told to expect delays over the next few days.

State Growth will be carrying out preparation work between 9am and 4pm for future resurfacing, with road users told to expect frequent lane closures and delays up to 15 minutes.

A department spokesperson says the work is likely to cause traffic queuing onto the Midland Highway and Hobart Road in both directions.

Reduced speed limits will also be in place.
