Tasmanian supporters thanked by Ariarne Titmus’s family

Proud Dad Steve Titmus has thanked Tasmanians for the wonderful messages of congratulations the family has received for daughter Ariarne after she set a new World Record in swimming.

Arnie set a new World Record in the 400 metre freestyle earlier this week at the World Aquatics Championships in Japan.

The Mayor of Launceston Matthew Garwood has congratulated Ariarne, describing her as an amazing role model for young Tasmanians. Mayor Garwood says the 400 metre swim was a breathtaking performance and he’s extremely proud of her.
