A student apparently filthy about the teachers at one of Victoria's top-performing schools has resorted to leaving faeces around campus in protest over "crap" staff.
Mac.Robertson Girls' High is a select-entry government school that ranked second in the state for VCE scores in 2016 and regularly rates in the top tier.
But a flyer posted at its Albert Park campus this week cites a number of complaints by the unnamed student about the quality of its teachers.
"The teachers are s---, so I have left symbolic droppings of what the education is like at this school. CRAP!!!," it said, according to a copy obtained by news.com.au.
"I know I have resorted to the most extreme method to make a symbolic point, but you NEVER listen to student voice."
The girl mentioned several teachers in her rant, saying one brings earphones to class and watches "mindless videos on his device every single lesson".
The student reportedly started the protest in first term, leaving her deposits on bathroom floors and around the sink about 10 times over the year, 3AW has reported.
When contacted on Friday, the school declined to comment but the principal, Dr Toni Meath, said a day earlier she stood by the "professionalism and dedication" of her teachers.
"This year we became aware of a student who was dissatisfied and we've reached out to offer her support and address her concerns," she said.
