Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information on an arson attack in Rokeby, in the state's south, recently.
Shortly after midnight on January 9, multiple Tasmania Fire Service crews were called to the house on Annabelle Street, finding it well alight.
The TFS deemed the fire deliberate.
Crime Stoppers CEO Mariae Leckie hopes the amount of money will encourage people to come forward.
"$10,000 is a lot of money and hopefully it will help those people who know something to come forward and tell the police what they know."
"The community are on edge, they want the person caught," she said.
"The residents feel such senseless attacks very deeply, especially when we have a shortage of social housing across Tasmania,” said Mission Australia Housing Regional Manager Tasmania Matt Durose.
