Justice is looming for a southern Tasmanian murderer.
Shannon James Duffy pleaded guilty in February to the execution-style murder of Jarrod Turner (pictured) near Richmond in April last year.
The pair enjoyed a drink at Five Mile Beach before the 31-year-old killer gunned the young father down on Colebrook Road in cold blood.
Duffy then fled to Fingal where he was arrested days later.
Duffy's due to face a sentencing submissions hearing in the Supreme Court in Hobart on Monday afternoon.
The inevitable gaol sentence has been delayed after his defence asked for time to examine some disputed facts.
