The Rescue chopper team headed to the rugged terrain of the Franklin-Gordon Rivers National Park late yesterday (Saturday) to help a 61 year old woman out of trouble.

They responded to a Personal Locator Beacon in the Great Ravine area.

The woman, who'd been kayaking in a group on the Franklin, was flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
