NSW locations declared "high-risk" by Tas Health

Victoria's coronavirus cluster is now threatening to impact New South Wales, after confirmation an infected person with the highly infectious Indian variant visited several sites in the state's south.

It's prompted a swift high-risk declaration of five locations by the Tasmanian Director of Public Health Dr Mark Veitch, adding them to the statewide Victorian border closure:

- The Cooked Goose Cafe at Hyams Beach and Coles Vicentia Shopping Village between 12 and 1pm on Sunday May 23.

- Trapper's Bakery and Shell Coles Express Big Merino in Goulburn on Monday May 24 between 10-11:30am.

- The Green Patch campground in Booderee National Park across the whole of Sunday and between 9am and 12pm on Monday.

The Department of Health is contacting all recent arrivals to Tasmania who have been in NSW on or after May 23 to advise them. 

Anyone in the Apple Isle who visited those sites at those times is being told to immediately self isolate and contact the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738.
