Tigers crushed

Nicking the moving ball on home soil once again has seen Tasmania humiliated in its final Shield game of the season.

After a decent first innings, the Tigers were chasing 300 for victory, but were routed for just 109, the top score was tail ender Rainbird with 33.

Interim coach Richard Allanby has expressed his embarrassment.

"We got obliterated in the space of 2 overs losing 5 for 5, we just need to get better and if it's with this group of players, it's with this group of players and if it's not, it's not."
