A shipment of underwear allegedly loaded with nearly a kilo of ice has a northwest Tasmanian couple in serious trouble.
The man and a woman aged 48 and 39 were arrested after police raided an Ulverstone home where the package had been delivered this week.
Police set up the sting after Border Force officers found small bags of suspected meth in a package of underwear, bras and handbags destined for Tasmania.
During the raid, police also located and seized 50 grams of white crystals which presumptively tested positive to methamphetamine, 185 grams of cannabis and a mobile phone.
The maximum penalty for attempting to import a commercial quantity of drugs is life.
