Authorities in the US are probing the suspected drowning of a Tasmanian man in the Grand Canyon.
Park Officials have told local media Kenneth Reece was pulled from the Colorado River during a trip below Deer Creek Falls.
Fellow holidaymakers undertook CPR on the 77-year-old before rangers arrived and took over.
Despite their best efforts, Mr Reece couldn't be saved, and his body was airlifted out of the canyon by helicopter.
The Arizona Republic reports the local medical examiner's office is now working to determine the cause of death.
